DESIGNER-MAKER
Born 1985 in Korea. Majored design in Ewha University, School of Art and Design, and got a Master’s Degree summa cum laude in 2011. She is currently working in Yongin, near Seoul.
Chaehoon Moon is a designer - maker who creates contemporary beauty based on the sophisticated know-how of Korean tradition. She makes objects with modern beauty using the traditional material and technique of her own culture. She is also an innovator in creating her own technique as a young craftsman.
She has run a tableware brand Damoon reflect her design philosophy since 2015.
